l excursion - Spreewald with 'Kahnfahrt'
We leave the city of Berlin to drive to Lübbenau, the “green Venice of Germany.” There we continue the tour in a traditional Kahn* through the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO World Cultural Site).
Lunch with local food at a traditional thatch roofed guest house restaurant and beer garden.
Visit in Lübbenau (Market square, Saint Nikolai church...).
*See picture. A typical local boat which can be covered if it should rain.

| 10.30 h | Arrive in Lübbenau, the “green Venice of Germany.” A short walk in Lübbenau (market square, Saint Nikolai church, castle). |

Then by Kahn* on the water through the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve. A very relaxing and romantic route, with passage through a sluice. |

| 14.00 h | The Kahn tour continues with picturesque watersidescenery to Lehde, a Spreewald village of wooden block houses. |
| 15.30 h | Arrive in Lübbenau. Return to Berlin. |
